This past Fashion Week in New York City, I was excited to join the Optimum Amla Legend style squad for a behind-the-scenes view at the looks they executed for the Edwing D’Angelo Fall/Winter 2014 show! As a proud sponsor of the show, Optimum was responsible for complementing D’Angelo’s designs with simple yet slightly edgy hair. Happy Tuesday y’all! The International African Arts Festival in Brooklyn took place over four gorgeous (but HOT!!) days and brought out all types of gorgeous natural beauty. Although I am usually super eager to attend festivals, fairs and other free events to take in some culture, I don’t do so very often… weird, right?! Well, for that very reason, I decided to attend two days of the festival, the first and last, to take in as much as I could {see my fashion pics from day one here}.
