Hair Tip Tuesday: Exercise!

Quite a few of us naturals may run away from breaking a sweat just because we wanna keep our style du jour lookin’ good. Truth is, that cute coiffure may be all for naught if you don’t take care of your body and exercise!

Yes, regular exercise is, of course, an essential part of overall health which means your hair will have no choice but to benefit as well!

Another Benefit

Stress is a huge cause of hair loss in many. I can certainly attest to that fact! But besides the effect it has on our hair, no one wants to be stressed in the first place, am I right? Well, exercise helps reduce stress significantly so you’ll not only look good but you’ll feel good too!

No one’s saying you need to get up tomorrow and run a 5K or do 300 sit-ups every morning. If you’re not used to exercise or have slacked off (*cough* like me), start off slow by walking or doing some simple moves just to get you moving- a few lunges here, some jumping jacks there- and build until you can do more and more each day. Hey, throw on one of your favorite high-energy tunes and dance! That’s how I like to get my exercise in. Just get moving!

Beautiful hair begins with healthy hair and healthy hair starts from within. Remember that. šŸ˜‰

    That’s interesting! There are already quite a few benefits to exercising and if it is good for the hair, too, that’s even better reason to go bust up some sweat!
