I can’t get enough of skirts in the summertime! The maxi is a definite love but what really makes me wanna skip through a meadow is a great-fitting circle skirt… the midi, more specifically. What better way to represent at a breakfast and hair care line presentation with the crew at SoftSheen-Carson than to get a little ‘dolled-up’ with my (relatively) new favorite BRIGHT floral midi skirt!
Skirt: H&M | Cropped Cotton Blazer (old): Forever 21 | White Tank: Target | Shoes: Necessary Clothing | Bag (old): H&M | Necklace: Unknown
Because I’ve been ‘cursed’ with a larger *cough* posterior in conjunction with a tiny waist, finding clothing that fits properly can be challenging. I’ve found that an A-line silhouette suits me best and I seldom need to make any adjustments to dresses or skirts of this kind. If any, it’s very minimal. This beauty hits the waist just right and then flares with plenty of material to gently camouflage… my issues.
With a skirt so bright and full of color, I toned it down with a white tank and neutral blazer and brought out a color from the floral design with a necklace I’ve had for YEARS. To close out the accessories, I picked up the faint, dark green in the design with a matching purse and the main orangey-reddish hue flowed well with these peep-toe wedges that you may remember from this post. I felt so summery and cool in this getup!
