Happy Wednesday all! In case you didn’t already know from social media, the hubster and I got together with my girl Danielle of DFinney Photography & Design for a rather impromptu maternity photo shoot last month… just a little over a week before my due date! Were we pushing it? Probably. LOL! But I’m so happy we were able to squeeze it in while Danni was in town.
I had seen so many beautiful and fun maternity photo shoots on the ‘interwebs’ and so wanted to have one of my own. Of course I would enlist the services of Miss Finney not only because she’s a friend but because, well… she’s THAT good! She not too long ago did an awesome maternity shoot for vlogger Mae aka Natural Chica and has many others under her belt, each one flawless! We wanted to go down to DC but after a few failed attempts to coordinate schedules, I had basically given up the idea of having an epic maternity photo shoot. Whomp, whomp. Then I get a text from Danni while she was here in Brooklyn saying that she’d have some free time and, if we were free, we could do a mini shoot.
WOOOOOT! I was all over it!
Danni is such a pro with location scouting! With only a few days to plan for our shoot, she managed to find the most beautiful and colorful backdrops for our images. And I just love how she captured our fun personalities… good times!
