best lip balms for fall feature

I don’t know about you, but as soon as the temperature dropped to an actual fall degree, my lips turned on me! I’m talkin’ dry, chapped and just plain ole not cute. Thankfully, I always have some type of “lip stuff” at the ready and was able to nip that lip ash in the bud. So you don’t get caught out there lookin’ like “who shot John”, here are what I think are the best lip balms for fall, right on through to winter.

2. Softlips 5-in-1 Lip Care Cube

I’m such a sucker for cute packaging! How adorable is this little cube by Softlips?!

I received this lip balm a while back from Influenster and was excited to see if it was just another “pretty face” or if it actually did what it said it would. I’m happy to report that I instantly fell in love with this lip balm! First, I usually opt for minty lip balms and I thought it was so crazy that I just happened to receive the Fresh Mint Lip Cube. Secondly, it not only protected my lips from the elements and kept them super smooth thanks to the shea butter and antioxidant vitamins A, C and E, but it also provides a nice shine. Wanna try it? Find your flavor here!

3. eos Sweet Mint Smooth Sphere Lip Balm

At first, I thought this egg-shaped lip balm was cute but a little gimmicky. So I’m like, (in my best Brooklyn tone) does it work, doe?

It most definitely does! eos Smooth Sphere Lip Balm is long-lasting, has a great flavor and the best part is it’s 100% natural/95% organic! It’s packed with Vitamin E, shea butter and jojoba oil to keep my lips healthy and smooth all day long. For those of you watching your ingredients, it’s also paraben-free, petrolatum-free AND gluten-free! Like the Softlips cube, this has a twist-off cap which I love. Nothing worse than having a naked lip balm floating around your purse!

You can find this and other yummy flavors plus mutli-packs here.

4. SDOTBEAUTY Muah! All Natural Lip Balm

I initially discovered this small business on Instagram but was able to meet the founder, Stephanie, at an event a few years back. The “lip stuff” connoisseur that I am, I was intrigued by a lip balm that was not only all-natural but made with mango seed butter! When she handed me one to try, I didn’t hesitate slapping that stuff on my lips imMEjittly!

This lip balm goes on SO smoothly, keeps my lips feeling moisturized ALL DAY and the best thing… a little goes a long way. That little stick lasted FOR. EV. ER! When it finally reached the bottom, I loved it so much, I held onto it a little longer so I could dig in with a fingernail (don’t judge me) to get every last drop! 5. Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Swivel Stick

Cocoa butter is often used it to help fade dark marks from cuts or blemishes and to keep your skin silky smooth. Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Swivel Stick does the same for your lips.

It’s made so you can easily rub it on any problem spots on your skin but you can so definitely use it to heal chapped lips! I’ve always loved the scent of Palmer’s cocoa butter and this brings me back to my childhood years. I’ve had this in constant rotation for the past couple weeks to help heal my lips which basically burned (yikes!) from a product I used on my face (because it was expired… my bad!). The healing power of cocoa butter has my lips looking human again. Wooot! So tell that ash “be gone!” and try it for yourself!

Sooo, yeah. These are what I believe are the best lip balms for fall and winter… I am RET TA GO! How ’bout you?

Have you tried any of these lip balms? What do you use to keep your lips moisturized during the cooler months?
